As always, here at euroloo we like to give you a little update about what we’ve been up to and this week has been no different to previous weeks. We’ve had clients contacting us from all angles, all in need of portable toilet hire for Essex and London locations.
On the 20th September, we were lucky enough to provide portable toilet hire for an event that was run by the Inland Waterways Association in Hoe Mill Lock, Ulting in Essex. euroloo rather proudly provided them with toilet hire in the shape of two event toilets. They were delivered and placed on the Friday and collected on the Monday after the event had finished. The event itself was the IWA’s Waterways Triathlon that was held in order to raise money for the Essex waterways or “The Susan Trust”. All of the money raised was to go toward helping to improve the Chelmer and Blackwater navigation system as well as helping to restore the famous Chelmer Barge. The event itself was a huge success with participants taking part in either a 30km route or 50km route that combined canoeing, cycling and running. The course itself ran throughout the beautiful Essex countryside so in spite of the hard work and no doubt a fair few cramps, participants were at least treated to some stunning views. Challengers of the event were invited to take part in teams of 2 and 4 or as individuals. There were also teams of 3 that were taking part as a relay with each person taking on 1 stage of the route. The atmosphere and build up to the event was most certainly high when we delivered the portable loos on the Friday and we weren’t proven wrong with the event being incredibly popular.
It appeared we also had a repeat performance of the week before in that we had another school phone us in need of emergency toilet hire. This instance however proved to be a lot more of an emergency as the school in question, Westhill Primary School in Wandsworth, London, had unfortunately been victim to an unexpected fire which had forced them to close off the water supply. This resulted in no toilets within the school being usable. This was of course classed as an emergency with the toilets being required by the time the school was to re-open on the Monday. As always, euroloo provided Westhill Primary School with four mobile loos first thing Monday morning allowing he school to reopen as normal. This meant lessons continuing as normal, which as we’re sure you’ll all agree, was of the utmost importance.
