Developers LCL have launched plans for £50m mixed-use scheme. This will transform the St George’s North area of Leicester city centre. The vision for a fleet village includes new apartments as well as an array of retail units. With works expected to start in spring 2019, we predict a huge amount of construction work before them. This is an excellent step forward for the city too, as a partner at Howes Percival spoke on behalf of LCL, “This area of Leicester has seen little or no growth for the past 15 years and is desperately in need of regeneration”.

Student Development In Leicester City Completed
A new development has recently come to an end, with 85 brand new studio apartments having been completed. The new student accommodation in Leicester was designed by MAS Architecture. It combined the complete development of a brand new four storey building as well as the redevelopment of Victorian buildings. This is the second successful scheme for Stepnell, specifically for student accommodation too. This development has now completed as works on a third development have already begun.
