What a busy week it’s been. Here at euroloo, we always know when Summer is starting to make a show as portable toilet hire seems to go through the roof in terms of events. We also notice a lot more buzz about the office because let’s face it, a bit of sunshine makes everyone feel better!
As we told you last week, the bank holiday weekend see us travelling to Hedingham Castle to provide them with suitable portable toilets for their event but what we didn’t tell you was that the event was actually a medieval siege! The eleven standard event toilets and the one disabled access unit were therefore put in place for not only the event guests but the knights and ladies taking part on the day. Unfortunately we couldn’t cater for the knight’s steeds, they had to see to themselves but we did hear a knight or two complimenting the event toilets and how well they catered for the knights and their metal plates of amour!
Saturday will see our crew travelling in a few different directions as euroloo and our portable toilets have been called upon to help at two very different events. The first will be the “Colour Me Rad 5K” that’ll be taking place at Wormwood Scrubs Park in Acton, London. This looks to be a hugely popular event as not only will it be beautiful weather for all runners involved but the runners will be accompanied by colour bombs. It looks to be a 5K with a difference, that’s for sure. Due to the large amount of attendees expected, we’ve been called upon to provide nine standard event toilets as well as one disabled access toilet. We’re looking forward to seeing just how colourful an event it turns out to be, especially at the finish line.
While half of our crew will be attending the “Colour Me Rad 5K”, some of our other crew will be attending an event in Hylands Park in Chelmsford. Hylands Park will be hosting a horse logging experience day for anyone to attend. What a totally different event. We know a few of our crew members are excited to see some of the heavy horses that’ll be there pulling the logs. With the size of the logs too, we’re guessing they’re going to be super big. For this event when it comes to portable toilets, we’ll be providing one standard event toilet and one disabled access toilet. The event happens to be very local to us too which is always nice when it’s this hot. Driving in this heat can be pretty tough at times.
Last but most certainly not least, we’d like to congratulate one of our members of the euroloo team, Nikki. Nikki, who works in our offices here in Chelmsford, took part in the Heart Essex Big Town Showdown. The Showdown is a general knowledge quiz in which Essex’s towns and villages go up against each other. Our fabulous Nikki was on the radio and completed the entire quiz with flare. She was so good in fact that she came out at number one with a time of just 44 seconds and we couldn’t be more proud of her! Well done Nikki!
Now let’s enjoy this glorious sunshine and have an awesome weekend!
