Founded in 2015, EVOLUTION Communication and Broadcast Services are a communication and broadcast specialist – working with and adapting to the changing needs and demands of the broadcast and telecommunications infrastructure market. With a commitment to sustainability and employee wellbeing, they required an eco-friendly welfare solution that provided essential facilities while reducing environmental impact. Recognising the increasing importance of environmentally responsible practices in today’s business landscape, EVOLUTION CBS sought a solution that would align with their values of ethical leadership, innovation and long-term sustainability.
The Requirement
Providing high-quality welfare facilities on-site was crucial for maintaining team productivity, compliance and comfort. Traditional diesel-powered welfare units posed issues such as high fuel costs and carbon emissions. EVOLUTION CBS needed a sustainable, cost-effective alternative that aligned with their values while ensuring their workforce had access to essential amenities.
The Solution
To meet these needs, EVOLUTION CBS partnered with ecowelfare to install a 12ft fully solar-powered welfare unit. This unit featured a canteen for meal breaks, a toilet for sanitation and a drying room for added convenience. By eliminating reliance on diesel, the unit reduced operational costs while supporting the company’s sustainability goals.
