Traditional diesel-powered units incurred high running costs and a significant carbon footprint, which conflicted with Decotex’s commitment to sustainability. They needed a modern, energy-efficient alternative that could provide sanitation, a canteem and a comfortable environment while reducing reliance on fossil fuels.
The Solution
Decotex partnered with ecowelfare to introduce a 12ft fully solar-powered welfare unit on-site. The unit featured a canteen for meal preparation and breaks, along with two toilets to ensure sanitation for their workforce. The solar-powered design provided a cost-effective, eco-friendly alternative that met operational needs while supporting their environmental commitments.
