Introduction

Clancy Group  is a leading civil engineering and utilities company, delivering essential infrastructure projects across the UK. Committed to reducing environmental impact while maintaining high operational standards, they sought an eco-friendly welfare solution that provided flexibility and comfort for their on-site workforce. Recognising the growing need for sustainable practices within the construction industry, Clancy Group was determined to embrace greener alternatives in every facet of their operations, particularly in the welfare units used on their sites.

The Requirement

Clancy Group required a combination of welfare units that offered essential amenities, promoted sustainability, and reduced operational costs. Traditional diesel-powered units were expensive to run and did not align with their environmental goals. They needed a range of welfare facilities that could cater to different team sizes while minimising carbon emissions. In addition to the reduction of energy consumption, Clancy Group sought welfare units that would offer enhanced comfort for their teams.

The Solution

Partnering with euroloo for ecowelfare, Clancy Group implemented a range of fully solar-powered welfare units, including 24ft office-canteens with twin toilets for larger teams, and compact 12ft single and twin-toilet canteen units. These sustainable solutions significantly reduced on-site fuel consumption and emissions, providing comfortable, eco-friendly workspaces tailored to team sizes and project needs.

The Conclusion

  • Zero fuel costs – Fully solar-powered, eliminating reliance on diesel.
  • Over 537 litres of fuel saved – Reducing operational expenses and environmental impact.
  • More than 1.7 tonnes of CO2 emissions avoided – Supporting Clancy Group’s commitment to sustainability.
  • Improved workforce welfare – Providing comfortable, well-equipped spaces tailored to different site needs.
