The Requirement
With sustainability at the forefront of their operations, Breedon sought an on-site welfare solution that was both eco-friendly and functional for their workforce. Conventional diesel-powered welfare units were expensive to run and did not align with their carbon reduction targets. They needed a modern, spacious welfare unit that could provide vital facilities while significantly reducing fuel consumption and emissions.
The Solution
Breedon implemented an ecowelfare 24ft solar-powered welfare unit, which comfortably accommodates up to 15 people. This cutting-edge unit includes a fully equipped canteen, an office space and two toilets, ensuring colleagues have access to essential facilities without reliance on diesel generators. The energy-efficient design not only improved the team’s working environment but also reinforced the Group’s sustainability efforts.
