We’re looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our Chelmsford office team, working alongside our Accounts Manager.
As the business continues to grow, we’re expanding our office team and would welcome applications from individuals with accounts experience who are looking to join a stable and supportive working environment.
The role
This is an office-based role at our Chelmsford depot, supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
You’ll work closely with the Accounts Manager and wider team to ensure all financial processes are carried out accurately and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Inputting purchase and sales invoices
- Carrying out account reconciliations
- Processing payments via BACS, cheque and credit card
- Supporting day-to-day accounts administration
- Maintaining accurate financial records
What we’re looking for
The ideal candidate will:
- Have at least 2 years’ experience in an accounts assistant or similar role
- Have a good working knowledge of Sage Line 50
- Be organised, accurate and detail-focused
- Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Have a positive and proactive approach to work

This role is based at our office in Great Baddow, Chelmsford.
