We’ve been supporting construction, commercial and infrastructure projects from our Chelmsford base for over 20 years and are now looking to recruit additional Service Drivers to join our team.
Due to continued growth and strong customer demand, we’re expanding our service routes across London, Essex and the Home Counties. We’d like to hear from anyone looking for driver jobs in Chelmsford who wants to be part of a reliable and hard-working team.
The role
As a Service Driver, you’ll be responsible for servicing portable toilets and welfare facilities across a set route of customer sites.
This is a hands-on role where reliability and organisation are key. You’ll manage your own daily route, ensuring all servicing work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
What the job involves
- Servicing and cleaning portable toilets and welfare units on site
- Planning and managing your daily route efficiently
- Preparing your vehicle at the end of each day for the following morning
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks to ensure road safety and compliance
- Working closely with the depot and office team to meet customer requirements
Working hours
- Monday to Friday
- Typically 06:00 start with afternoon finishes
- Overtime may be required during busy periods and is paid accordingly
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for individuals who are:
- Reliable and hard-working
- Comfortable working independently throughout the day
- Organised and able to manage their own workload
- Familiar with London, Essex and the Home Counties (preferred)
- Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
You’ll be supported by an experienced office team, with vehicles equipped with tracking and navigation systems.
