Introduction
Environmental Regeneration is a specialist company dedicated to restoring and enhancing natural environments through sustainable practices. With a commitment to reducing environmental impact, they required on-site welfare facilities that aligned with their sustainability goals while ensuring their team had access to essential amenities.

The Requirement
Providing suitable welfare facilities on-site was crucial for maintaining team productivity, compliance and wellbeing. Traditional diesel-powered units not only incurred high operational costs but also contradicted Environmental Regeneration’s focus on sustainability. They needed a modern, eco-friendly alternative that would support their workforce while minimising their carbon footprint.
The Solution
To meet these needs, Environmental Regeneration partnered with ecowelfare to deploy a 12ft fully solar-powered welfare unit. This unit featured a canteen for meal breaks, a toilet for sanitation and a drying room for added convenience. The solar-powered system eliminated fuel dependency, reduced costs and ensured a greener approach to on-site welfare.
The Conclusion
- Zero fuel costs – Fully solar-powered, eliminating reliance on diesel.
- Over 284 litres of fuel saved – Reducing operational expenses and environmental impact.
- More than 899kg of CO2 emissions avoided – Supporting Environmental Regeneration’s sustainability commitments.
- Improved workforce welfare – Providing a comfortable, well-equipped space for the team on-site.
