The City of London Police required a welfare unit that would offer comfort and functionality while aligning with their commitment to reducing carbon emissions. Traditional diesel-powered units were costly to maintain and did not support their sustainability objectives. They needed a spacious, energy-efficient welfare facility that could operate without reliance on fossil fuels.
The Solution
To meet these requirements, the City of London Police partnered with ecowelfare to deploy a fully solar-powered 24ft welfare unit, accommodating up to 15 people. This advanced unit featured a canteen, office space and two toilets, ensuring that officers and staff had access to a comfortable, well-equipped environment.
