Below we’ve put together some answers to Frequently asked Questions that we hope help any customers that maybe looking to use our services for the first time.
All euroloo portable toilets are serviced or emptied once per week using our fully branded custom-built service vehicles by a member of our own uniformed team. All euroloo service vehicles carry the necessary equipment required to empty, clean and re-stock portable toilets and are fitted with our own unique vacuum tanks for the removal of effluent which will be safely and legally disposed of at the nearest sewage treatment plant.
All euroloo weekly hired portable toilets include a free weekly service during the hours of Mon to Fri excluding Bank Holidays and weekends, should you require additional servicing or additional toilets this can be easily arranged.
To deliver, service and collect our portable toilets we will need the toilet placed in a location with clear unrestricted access within 15ft of where we can safely and legally park our service vehicle. Ideally this is to the front garden or driveway of residential properties or at the front of or an easily accessible place on your project, it is not uncommon for us to be placed next to your skip. The toilets should also be placed on level ground and away from any windows that may need to be o
euroloo follows the guidance of the current British Standard BS6465-1:2006 which states that 1 toilet should be provided for every 7 operatives working a 40-hour week as also recommended by the HSE. It is important to note if you have more than 7 operatives or users which is normally the case towards the end of projects you will require additional toilets or additional servicing.
euroloo portable toilets generally take up a 4ft square footprint however you will need to ensure adequate space for manoeuvring into location on delivery and collection access and the door open and close including access for regular servicing.
We understand that from time to time you may need to move the portable toilet, if you must move the portable toilet once it has been delivered always ensure it is relocated to within 15 feet of where we can safely reach with our service vehicle and that access always remains clear and unrestricted for the driver.
We operate a one-man delivery, service, and collection team so we are unable to lift toilets over walls, garden fences etc. However, if your team onsite wish to lift toilets over anything please bear in mind our service driver will still need clear unresisted access within 15 feet to carry our regular servicing. Please also note it is the hirer’s responsibility to lift any toilets back to where our service driver can easily collect.
Ideally you will have someone onsite to show the driver where the toilets need to go, alternatively some sort of marking on the ground is helpful such as a sheet of timber or road cone if you no one is around. We can carry out the toilet service with no one onsite if clear unrestricted access is available as per your hire contract.

We take payment for the first 4 weeks of hire including the delivery and collection charge in advance of delivery and accept all major credit cards and debit card and BACS payments.

Weekly hired euroloo portable toilets come with a free regular service included in the toilet hire price. This service includes the removal of waste from the toilet holding tank (subject to fair and reasonable use) and the restocking with enough fresh water and chemical to flush for re use. The toilet roll and hand wash facility will also be replenished when serviced including a general clean of internal surfaces to leave the toilet ready for use until our next visit.
It is the hirers responsibility to insure the equipment, and all fire and theft of the equipment is the hirers responsibility. However, euroloo do offer a damage waiver for any toilets hired, please ask us for further details.
No, under no circumstances should you attempt to empty or service our portable toilets as specialist equipment is required unless they are from our mains connected toilet range where they will be connected (by you) direct to your sewage outlet.
No, as tempting as it may be due to lack of storage on site, please do not store anything (tools, materials etc.) in the toilet as we are not responsible for them. Also, anything stored in the toilet will not be safe or secure and may block our access to carry out regular servicing of the toilet.
We do not offer or provide lighting inside our portable toilets; however, our toilets do have translucent roofs which should allow enough natural light for evening use if located near external light such us porch or flood lights.
Yes, we offer a Nationwide EMERGENCY toilet hire service with delivery within 2.5 hours where back up toilet facilities are needed at short notice to support business continuity.
It is advised by the UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) that “If you employ anyone (however short the period) you must ‘so far as reasonably practicable’, provide adequate and appropriate welfare facilities for them while they are at work.”
Yes, please see our current Waste Carriers License here, please note euroloo have been safely and legally disposing of effluent waste since 2003.
Under no circumstances should you put any additional cleaning products or other chemicals into the toilet, the chemicals used in euroloo portable toilets are manufactured especially for euroloo, therefore no other chemicals should be added to the tank as it may cause our chemicals to be less effective and potential lead to pollution of you locate sewage treatment plant on disposal.
Please do not place anything down our portable toilets other than the toilet roll provided by your service driver, this toilet roll is specially manufactured for euroloo portable toilets to avoid toilet blockages with to or service tanks. If rubbish, paper towels or rags are found inside the tank extra charges will apply that may also include but no limited to repairs to our servicing equipment.
No. However we do have door latches that can accommodate maybe a combination padlock, please note if you do place a padlock on the portable toilet then you will need to make the code available to our service team immediately.
We are the only UK portable toilet hire company that can offer genuine guaranteed next day delivery on portable toilets but as much notice is always advisable, please note for event toilet hire are customers generally average 6 weeks’ notice.
Although we pride ourselves on the highest service levels of any portable toilet supplier in the UK, on occasion the toilet may not be flushing due to lack of water covering the pump filter inside the tank. Should this be the case, pouring a bucket of water into the pan to bring the water level back up and pumping several times will more than likely get the flush going again. Should this process not resolve the issue please contact our team to arrange a service visit where we will service or repair.
We do not buy used portable toilets as we are the UK’s largest buyer of portable toilets and have a company policy to only provide our customers with the most modern hire fleet. However, we can arrange for the emptying collection and disposal of portable toilets that are no longer required.
