Introduction
Scanprobe, a leader in pipeline inspection systems, is committed to sustainability and efficiency in its operations. To enhance on-site conditions while reducing environmental impact, the company sought an eco-friendly welfare solution.
The Requirement
Scanprobe required welfare facilities that provided essential amenities while minimising carbon emissions. Traditional diesel-powered units did not align with its sustainability strategy, prompting the need for a cleaner, more efficient alternative.
The Solution
Partnering with ecowelfare, Scanprobe introduced two fully solar-powered 12ft welfare units. One unit was equipped with a canteen, a toilet and a dry room, while the other featured a canteen and two toilets. These innovative solutions provided self-sufficient and environmentally friendly workspaces, significantly reducing fuel consumption and emissions.
The Conclusion
- Zero fuel costs – Fully solar-powered, eliminating reliance on diesel.
- Over 165 litres of fuel saved – Reducing operational expenses and environmental impact.
- More than half a tonne of CO2 emissions avoided – Supporting Scanprobe’s sustainability goals.
- Enhanced workforce welfare – Providing comfortable and well-equipped spaces for on-site teams.
