With operations often taking place in remote or environmentally sensitive areas, ensuring high-quality, eco-friendly welfare facilities for their workforce was essential. They needed a sustainable, cost-effective solution that aligned with their environmental values while providing comfort and efficiency for their teams.
Wymagania
Providing on-site welfare facilities that meet environmental standards and ensure staff wellbeing is a key challenge for Craven Environmental. Traditional diesel-powered units conflicted with their sustainability goals, presenting high fuel costs and emissions. They required a modern welfare solution that could offer essential amenities, including sanitation, a canteen area and a drying room, while significantly reducing their carbon footprint.
Rozwiązanie
To address these needs, Craven Environmental partnered with ecowelfare to implement a 12ft fully solar-powered welfare unit. The unit included a canteen for meal preparation and breaks, a single toilet for essential sanitation and a drying room for storing and drying work gear. By utilising solar power, this welfare unit provided an environmentally responsible, cost-effective alternative that supported both operational efficiency and sustainability commitments.
