The Colchester Archaeological Trust sought a reliable and sustainable alternative that could provide sanitation, a canteen area and a drying room while significantly reducing emissions.

To address these needs, the Colchester Archaeological Trust partnered with ecowelfare to install a 12-stopowa, w pełni zasilana energią słoneczną jednostka socjalna. The unit featured a canteen where staff could take breaks and prepare meals, a single toilet for essential sanitation and a drying room for storing and drying wet gear. By utilising solar power, this welfare unit provided a cost-effective, low-impact solution that met the trust’s operational and environmental goals.
