Cesspit Emptying

Cesspit emptying cost are usually higher over the course of a year than the cost of emptying a septic tank as a Cesspit is a fully contained tank for the collection of effluent waste & foul water discharged from a domestic or commercial water treatment system.

To enable a cesspit to function properly it is important to have the cesspit emptied on a regular basis to prevent the build up of solids in your tank and importantly stop the tank from over flowing or discharging causing possible pollution.

Although emptying a cesspit maybe not be the first thing on your to do list it is an essential one to maintain a healthy free flowing system at your home or property to avoid any unpleasant or costly surprises.

All cesspits should be emptied at least once a year, but in most cases they can range from monthly to quarterly emptying depending on size and usage.

If your a home owner with a septic tank, cesspit or sewage treatment plant then your classed as a domestic customer and the good news is you don't have to pay VAT on your tank emptying

If you are a business or operate from commercial premises then your classed as a commercial customer with tank emptying subject to VAT
